As revealed in an interview with Polygon, Bungie is tweaking aspects of the Vault of Glass raid for its Destiny 2 debut, as opposed to just bringing it over exactly as it is in the original Destiny game. The thought process behind it is that Guardians are now much stronger in Destiny 2 than they were in Destiny 1, with Bungie discovering that the Vault of Glass raid was way too easy with Destiny 2’s weapons and abilities....
Some players might be wondering why Trials of Osiris was cancelled, and lucky for them these players never knew the handful of serious problems that were impacting Destiny’s Crucible. The issues ran the gamut from connectivity problems to loading issues, but the most troublesome was a damage bug. Any who suffered this bug would be unable to do more than 1 or 2 hit points of damage to an opponent, essentially rendering them useless in the Crucible....
While we can’t verify the validity of the message, one Destiny player has come forward with an alleged warning message from Bungie. The message warns that the player’s connection is less than optimal for online PvP, and should things not improve he/she will be banned from any Crucible activities. Currently, Bungie has lifted weekly reward limits on five raids, including the popular Leviathan campaign. However, when one player tried to farm the Castellum section of the raid, he found that Bungie did not lift all of the loot restrictions for this year’s Moments of Triumph event. After he was unable to grind for the Castellum’s Acrius catalyst, SixthDayBrewing took to Twitter to ask the developers if this limit was intentional....
One of the new patrol style missions available to Destiny 2 players is called Adventures, which are essentially short, narrative focused optional missions. The latest trailer from Bungie introduces a variety of new adventures players can undertake, including testing a theory for Ikora, helping with a research project for someone named Asher, and destroying Taken blights for the AI known as Failsafe. Adventures take the simple patrol missions from the first game and expand them to not only include lore, but also make each mission feel a little more unique....
Originally credited to NAPainter, the Destiny 2 player and YouTuber known as Gladd put together a new video showing off the movement trick. Essentially, the movement trick is caused by quickly swapping weapons right as the super move is being used. In this case, Gladd uses Blade Barrage at the height of his second jump, and right as the super is used, he swaps the currently equipped weapon to cancel it out....
But while that discovery had a major impact on the game, this latest is a little less significant but still intriguing. Apparently, the barrel length of a shotgun in Destiny 2 will determine the damage range of said weapon. It took many failed attempts for one Destiny player to finally succeed, but finally Reddit user Scardrow has found a way to take a 6-player encounter and make it a 1-player encounter. Check out his very impressive run in the video below. What’s interesting about Scardrow’s run is that he completed it as a Warlock, the only class without a significant DPS buffing ability. Obviously, the Warlock has a greater advantage in that it can self resurrect upon death, but choosing Warlock means Scardrow needed to get all of his Aksis damage in the old fashioned way....
There are a few things that Bungie could give more details about tomorrow, which fans know will be coming to Destiny at some point. First are a number of sandbox changes that Bungie previewed last week, which will make changes to sidearms, Memory of Skorri, No Land Beyond, and Truth. These items have caught the attention of fans and Bungie since the weapon rebalance patch issued in February. Bungie specifically mentioned this in its blog, so it’s safe to assume the patch containing these changes will be dated tomorrow....
With the end of The Dawning and Sparrow Racing League, Iron Banner is one of the best ways to gear up and level up in Light. Loot will drop based on a player’s current Light level and can be awarded up to the level 400 Light cap. As always, the new Iron Banner vendor, Efrideet, will bring pre-rolled weapons and gear, with the same items (but with random rolls) dropping after matches....

Microsoft’s New Xbox Console As reported by Windows Central, the Keystone console won’t pack powerful hardware. Instead, it will act as a hub through which you can play games on the cloud via the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan. Because the hardware is designed purely for streaming instead of rendering graphics, the cost of the console is projected to be much lower than Microsoft’s flagship console, the Xbox Series X. And because of that, there’s seemingly no way to download games onto it or put a game disk into the Keystone console; it can only handle games played on the cloud, where the graphics are rendered off of the console....
