In a collection of screenshots released by Bungie and Activision, fans can get a glimpse of some of the weapons they will be hunting down this September when Rise of Iron launches. Here they are: Vanguard, Crucible, & Factions The blue and orange, V-shaped paint scheme on the body of the gun, plus the full Vanguard insignia right below the sight pretty much solidifies that Occam’s Razor is a Vanguard shotgun, likely available from the Vanguard Quartermaster and a possible drop from Legendary Engrams....

Destroy All Humans! was something of a cult classic, so it is no surprise that it is being remade for current-gen consoles. Now that the game is less than 48 hours from release, Early Access has opened up for those that pre-ordered the game. Now, however, the company has come forth with its side of the story. On Sept. 28, Temasek managing director for strategic development Jimmy Phoon revealed key aspects of the transaction that will have an impact on new investigations into Thaksin’s alleged corruption. Two key details stand out: he says Temasek was not informed that the sale was structured so that the prime minister’s family would avoid taxes, nor was payment made into offshore bank accounts, as has been reported....

The former UFC Champion had previously handed Brock Lesnar a major defeat inside the Octagon, and his debut in WWE opened the doors for Velasquez and Brock Lesnar to continue their rivalry. As per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company had brought in Cain Velasquez for three main reasons, the foremost being for him to put Brock Lesnar over. While Bungie has previously confirmed a number of new, next-generation features coming to Destiny 2 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the studio apparently didn’t announce everything. In fact, during the Xbox Series X Global Launch Livestream, Phil Spencer and Bungie CEO Pete Parsons get together to play a bit of Beyond Light. During the gaming session, Spencer confirmed that the experience was locked in at 60 frames per second on the Xbox Series X....

Season of the Seraph is the final season for Destiny 2’s fifth year, setting the stage for the events to come when the game’s next major expansion, Lightfall, releases in February 2023. The season sees Guardians join the Brays, Mara Sov, and Osiris as they work to repair and reawaken the Warmind Rasputin to aid in the Last City’s fight against The Witness. Guardians also need to hold back The Witness’ forces, which have also taken an interest in Rasputin’s dormant arsenal and treasure trove of secrets, in hopes of turning it against the Last City and its allies....

With every new seasonal launch or major expansion in Destiny, Guardians expect a certain level of resistance when trying to log in for the new content. From the “Tapir” errors of days past to the “Honeydew” errors of today, Guardians know that launch day is always a rough experience, and Season of the Splicer is no exception. The first group of pictures features some new exotics that players will be able to earn, however, the names for these exotics have yet to be revealed, and their unique perks also remain a mystery. None of the gear from Curse of Osiris has hit the Destiny 2 API and databases yet, so there’s no way to tell what exactly these exotics will do. First up is what is the “solar Coldheart,” which fires a solar beam instead of arc/ice one....

While the act of vaulting content that players had to pay for can definitely leave a sour taste in someone’s mouth, the studio sees it as a necessary step for the game to continue to grow. The Forsaken expansion itself has some incredible storytelling and does play a major part in informing players of the Awoken’s role in Sol, while also building much of Crow’s backstory and helping bring the character into the fold of the Tower....

During the event, players discovered an XP cooldown mechanic, that would actually throttle the amount of XP gained for those who continued to play beyond a certain point. Players participating in multiple events found that by the third or fourth time through, the XP reward would be far less than it was the first time through. The backlash continued to grow which forced Bungie to confirm that it would be removing the system entirely....

According to details on Bungie.net explaining the Character Migration process between Destiny 1 and Destiny 2, it makes it clear that if veteran players choose to import their characters into Destiny 2, their appearance will be locked in as is: That will be disappointing news for some, especially fans who were expecting some expanded customization options in Destiny 2. While those may exist—Bungie has yet to show off any of the character customization menu in the game—it won’t be available for imported avatars, only new characters....

Bungie community manager David “Deej” Dague has now taken to Twitter to clarify the situation, explaining that the Destiny Silver Steam listing was an “error.” Apologizing for the confusion, Deej also told followers that “all purchases will be refunded manually by Valve.” For good measure, Deej referred to the Destiny 2 Blizzard partnership, stating that there are “no plans to release Destiny 2 on PC anywhere else,” also encouraging fans to “pass it on....

The latest trailer for Detective Pikachu provides a brief rundown of the plot, with the titular character Detective Pikachu (voiced by Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds) teaming up with Tim Goodman (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s Justice Smith) to investigate his private eye father’s mysterious disappearance. As evidenced by the movie’s new trailer, viewers will be taken on a journey through the neon-lit streets of Ryme City, and introduced to a world in which Pokemon and humans live side by side....

As seen in the latest Destiny 2 trailer and corresponding blog post, the Guardian Games are taking the place of last year’s Revelry Event. As expected, the event is a friendly competition of sorts between the three Destiny classes as Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans all battle it out through daily class challenges called Medals from Eva Levante. In addition, players can pick up Laurels dropped by other players in various game modes, which help complete medals....

However, the Exorcism mission, in which Guardians are tasked with assisting and defending Queen Mara Sov while she performs the ritual to sever the connection between Savathun and her Worm, launched just today - a week before The Witch Queen. The timing was weird enough, considering that the Season went on for six months, but the issue is that a few Destiny 2 players won’t be able to experience it with such a short span of time between its release and the expansion’s launch....

This was addressed in a patch and Deepsight weapons became much more accessible, especially considering that some of them took just a few red border drops to fully unlock the corresponding patterns, which could require anywhere between two and five Deepsight drops. However, Destiny 2’s Season of the Haunted was released with twelve new craftable weapons in a mix of six seasonal guns and six returning Opulent weapons, and all of their patterns require five Deepsight weapons to access crafting options....

Season 17 will feature a new PvP map for Destiny 2, which is something fans have been waiting on since the release of the Shadowkeep expansion in 2019, and Iron Banner changes are on the way. Season of the Risen’s storyline even makes changes to Iron Banner more lore-friendly by stating that Empress Caiatl has her own ideas to improve Saladin’s presence in the Crucible, and players should expect a new vendor and reputation system to tag along....

For those that don’t know, Destiny 2 Season 13, also known as Season of the Chosen, launched earlier this February. Like every season before it, it brought loads of new content to the game, including a new power cap. Most seasons raise the power cap by 50, but players have had somewhat mixed feelings about this. While it works well to create more content, it can feel a bit overly grindy for some....
