The Season of Arrivals content, which Bungie detailed earlier in the year, has kept players busy trying to acquire the Forerunner title by unlocking Triumphs in the game. One such method is by completing the Interference missions: Ritual, Relic, and Crystal. The remaining two playlist activities also pose a few issues for similar reasons, but they have intrinsic problems of their own that prevent both Crucible and Gambit from shining. The Crucible has been left untouched for a long time, except for the rework of the Trials of Osiris and the last new maps being added all the way back in 2019 alongside Shadowkeep. Gambit has been in a bad state for a long time, so much so that the community has been vocal about fixing it....

Fine-Tuning Armor and Customization One of the most advertised changes for Shadowkeep was the overhaul to the Destiny 2 armor system, dubbed Armor 2.0. Bungie threw out the concept of armor perks, and instead turned all the perks into mods that players can slot into any (elementally attuned) armor piece. This system allows players to swap perks at will and allows for a more in-depth customization of specific pieces of gear that players want to use....

This is according to YouTuber Mesa Sean, who was one of the content creators invited to the summit of Destiny 2 players. Mesa Sean is under a strict nondisclosure agreement and is unable to provide many details about what he experienced at the summit, but was able to confirm that he playtested a new game mode coming in the Warmind DLC that he was quite impressed with. “You’ve never played a game mode like this in any Destiny franchise and probably not in any other franchises,” he said....

For those that might not be familiar, there is a bug with chests that prevents them from dropping rewards if players collect too many in a short amount of time. It was assumed that this was a type of lockout to prevent players from farming resources too quickly, but the bug also affects Lost Sector and Cayde’s Stash chests as well. In the weekly update, Bungie confirmed that the chest lockout is an “expected” result if too many planetary chests are opened within a short amount of time....

As with most new strikes for Destiny, the Wretched Eye strike has been selected as the Nightfall Strike for this week, but there are some things to note. Yes, the Arc Burn modifier can make the Splicer Shanks a real pain at various points throughout the fight, and the Exposure modifier, which doesn’t recharge shields, is a pain, but this is also the first Nightfall Strike of a new expansion, meaning it is much more difficult for players who are not fully leveled....

But instead of looking for a new challenge, one fan in particular took a look back into the near past to find an older challenge to accomplish. That is, defeating the final boss of the Wrath of the Machine raid solo, at the old Light cap of 385. Back before the Light level was increased to 400 with the release of Wrath of the Machine’s Heroic Mode, many player attempted the feat but were unable to do it....

Bungie has officially stated on its website that apart from any pressing emergencies that require urgent fixes for “future game-breaking bugs,” Destiny’s 2.3.1 patch is set to be “the last scheduled deployment for Legacy Consoles.” This means that Guardians on the PS3 and Xbox 360 won’t receive any more major expansions like Rise of Iron, as the studio has announced earlier this year that the action-RPG will not be getting any more content on last generation platforms....

WWE banned steel chair shots to the head in 2010 in an attempt to reduce the risk of concussion-related injuries. Before the rule was enforced, it was common for Superstars to hit each other with chair shots to the head in the 1990s and 2000s. Hall of Famers Gerald Brisco and JBL spoke to former WWE star Pete Gas on the latest episode of Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw. Dubbed the Hog Wild REQ Drop, 343 Industries has confirmed exactly what Halo 5 players can expect from the update. As the name of the DLC suggests, this new expansion is at least partially focused on the Warthog vehicle. As such, players can get their hands on four new Warthogs, including the Legendary Vespin Rocket Warthog and the Rare Sword Needler Warthog. The bridge from Detroit, Michigan, to Canada was closed on Monday evening amid continuing protests over COVID-19 vaccine mandates. The Michigan Department of Transportation advised motorists to use tunnels as alternate routes, the Detroit Free Press reported. The so-called Freedom Convoy was started by truckers upset over Canada’s new COVID-19 mandate requiring drivers entering the country to be fully vaccinated or potentially face testing and quarantine. Others have since joined the movement fighting against mask mandates, lockdown and other COVID-19 restrictions, CNN reported....

While these same two players, Gigz and Vendetta, already beat the final boss of the raid as a two-man team, the duo turned their sights on the first phase of the fight that involves defeating Gahlran’s Deception. While many said two-manning this part of the encounter was impossible because it requires players in three different zones that are separated by uncrossable walls, these two players were determined to prove it could be done....

Orbs of Power are a cooperative gameplay mechanic designed to encourage gamers to play in fireteams and reward them for working together, even though they are and have been useful solo as well. This collaborative element is a big part of the experience, and Destiny 2’s Orbs of Power play a crucial role in facilitating this teamwork by refilling a sizeable chunk of a player’s Super ability recharge meter. Players use their Super to generate Orbs of Power based on the kills they earn during the flashy attack, and without weapons generating them, this is the main way to do so....

To get started, players will need to equip a special or heavy finisher mod that spawns the ammo when a finisher is performed on an enemy. As the name implies, Destiny 2’s 2.0 update is meant to make sweeping changes to Bungie’s game. This week, however, players finally get a chance to square off in the Iron Banner as Lord Saladin finally makes his first appearance in Destiny 2. Like the rest of the game, Iron Banner is ditching the traditional bounties in favor of repeatable milestone quests, letting players earn faction reputation and special Iron Banner Engrams. This time around Saladin is offering weapons and special Samurai inspired Guardian armor. Unfortunately for raiders, Bungie recently delayed the start of the much-anticipated prestige mode for the Leviathan Raid....

In the meantime, Destiny fans have plenty to keep them occupied, and they need to be in tip-top form to finish all the new expansion has to offer, particularly when it comes to the action-RPG’s four fresh strikes involving encounters with the Shield Brothers, Rasputin in the Fallen S.A.B.E.R., Alak-Hul the Darkblade in the Sunless Cell, and the final boss in the PlayStation timed-exclusive strike Echo Chamber. The SIVA-infested section of Old Russia is filled with the usual Patrol missions, which award Vanguard reputation, like Kill, Scan, Collect, Survey, and High Value Target missions.
