In what has become commonplace among Destiny 2’s most skilled raiders, as soon as a new raid is defeated, players start challenging themselves to see if they can complete raid encounters with fewer players. This two-player run against Insurrection Prime was completed by Gladd (who is no stranger to raid fame among Destiny 2 fans) and Chevy. The full encounter can be seen here: Both Gladd and Chevy ran Dawnblade Warlock with the Well of Radiance super to boost their damage during the damage phase of the fight....

At one point in this new Destiny 2 trailer, players see three guardians performing a new emote together, seemingly confirming that this 3-player emote will arrive when Shadowkeep launches in October. It’s also worth mentioning that it could have been something different, such as 3 players doing the same emote separately at the exact same time, but that doesn’t seem to be the likeliest scenario. After all, multiplayer emotes are not new to Destiny 2, so a 3-player emote would only need a slight tweak to accommodate....

Destiny 2 is building up toward a major launch with the Lightfall expansion in early 2023. Guardians plundered the dark relics of Fallen pirates during Season of Plunder, advancing the main story further as the Vanguard’s forces grow to repel the impending threat of the Witness. Season of the Seraph has begun with Hive War God Xivu Arath attempting to seize control of Rasputin’s Seraph network. Players must band together to protect these Seraphs and repel Hive forces, and Assassin’s Creed fans may don special armor to represent their favorite franchise at the same time....

According to the retail description for Destiny 2, the Cabal leader Ghaul has managed to strip the City’s guardians of their power, forcing many to flee as the city fell. The description goes on to reveal that players will be traveling to other worlds within the solar system to discover weapons and new combat abilities, ultimately reuniting the scattered heroes to confront the Red Legion. According to Reddit user Tuinybadger, one of the rumored locations players will go to in Destiny 2 is Saturn, where the former Iron Lord Lady Efrideet, had been hiding out with a colony of other Guardians that no longer needed the Traveler’s light....

The Vex Mythoclast is a solar, single-shot, Fusion Rifle from the Vault of Glass in Destiny 1. This single-shot variant of Fusion Rifle proved to be a popular weapon not only in PVE but in the Crucible as well. The Witch Queen is the next expansion for Destiny 2 which, as mentioned above, will pit guardians against Savathun and her light-infused Lucent Brood. Guardians will need to venture into her throne world to discover how she seemingly stole the light, imbued her Hive army with it, and find a way to reclaim it. To do this, players will need to unravel the mysteries of Savathun’s realm while armed with new weapons to stop her Lucent Brood in their tracks....

Among the many medals to collect in Destiny’s Strike Scoring, arguably the hardest is the Rainbow Medal. To get a Rainbow Medal, players will need to get a Primary Streak medal, a Special Streak medal, and a Heavy Streak medal in somewhat quick succession. It doesn’t matter the order of the medals; only that the player gets all three. As with many of the activities in Destiny, players find new ways to overcome the game’s challenges, or create challenges of their own. One, Chadlantis on reddit, found a way to cross the jumping puzzle in King’s Fall solo only riding the starting ship. The method involves using the Sunbreaker Titan, a sword, and the Twilight Garrison exotic chest armor. All these help keep a character moving through the air across the entire expanse of the jumping puzzle....

As revealed by Universal Pictures and Legendary Entertainment, Detective Pikachu’s, primary shooting for the movie will be occurring in London, England, so it’s safe to presume that’s where the majority of the film’s cast and crew is right now. Because of all the secrecy surrounding Season 17 and the element rework coming with it, Destiny 2 fans are coming up with theories as to why this is the case and what it means, both in terms of narrative and gameplay. However, this week’s mission was bittersweet for long-time fans of Destiny 2, because Quria was never previously encountered by the Guardians and was hyped up as a legendary character, but went down in a single fight. Quria, Blade Transform, the Dreaming Mind, is no more; this event may seem like it’s not a big deal, but it will likely have branching consequences be felt into The Witch Queen expansion early next year....

Being a power weapon, the Leviathan’s Breath is already much more limited ammo-wise than most bows, but limiting things further is the fact that a brick of heavy ammo only gives it two shots, making it more like a rocket launcher in how the game expects players to use it. Since this is not how most players like to use bows, though, they are remedying this by turning to one of Destiny 2’s oldest exploits....

As is always the case, the Spire of Stars raid lair is being kept well under wraps with virtually nothing known about it outside of the title. But it may be possible to draw a few assumptions about it from Destiny 2’s first raid lair, Eater of Worlds. First off, Spire of Stars will almost certainly take place aboard the Leviathan, the giant planet-eating ship that serves as the location for Destiny 2’s main raid as well as the first raid lair....

With the Faction Rally now at an end, many eyes have now turned to Lord Saladin who has yet to make his entrance in Destiny 2. Bungie has confirmed that the Iron Banner will be making its debut sometime in October, but details remain scarce outside of a potential leak which sees Saladin taking ownership of the mode once again, replacing Lady Efrideet from the Rise of Iron expansion. According to reports, a new Iron Banner milestone will reset every day and offer players new reputation bundles, effectively replacing the old bounty system from the first game....

In a section of the blog post entitled ‘Age of Osiris’, Bungie informed Destiny 2 fans that the developer is aware of the recent issues preventing base game players from earning certain achievements. Due to a new level cap brought about by the Curse of Osiris DLC, beating or even playing the Leviathan Raid is no longer possible for those who cannot obtain the higher levels recommended for it....

Bungie broke the news in its weekly blog, answering the question on many longtime fans’ minds, “What’s next for Destiny?” Bungie says the content update that it has just begun to tease is “taking shape” and that all will be unveiled sometime in the coming months in one of the developer’s usual live stream reveals. In the blog post, Bungie was deliberate in mentioning that the content update would give players something to do in the “springtime” so it appears that it will come in a similar timeframe as last year’s April Update....
