This latest discovery was found in Season of Dawn’s new Sundial activity, wherein players team up to fight Cabal legions across multiple missions, all to stop them from using the titular time-bending Sundial to undo the events of Destiny 2’s base campaign, the Red War. Normally, when players complete a Sundial mission, they are offered a selection of new weapons from the Sundial Spire at the end, but are only allowed to choose one....
Just like The Taken King last year, Rise of Iron adds a much needed infusion of content and new features to the two year old game, including an all new story campaign along with new weapons and loot to acquire. Anyone booting up Destiny today will see themed decorations added to the Tower, the Reef, and the Iron Temple. There’s even different music playing in these social spaces to get Guardians into the festive spirit. Players can visit Tyra Karn in the Iron Temple to assist with a special task, according to patch notes published on the Bungie website. Meanwhile, Crucible matches, Strike hoards, and the Trials of Osiris activity can all reward players with Festival of the Lost vanity items....
This past week, it was also revealed that the Crucible in Destiny would also be receiving some changes, as available playlists will drop from 12 to just six. This means that classic playlists are being removed completely, while traditional core playlists will start rotating on a weekly basis. So standard 6v6 modes like Clash and Control may rotate to other 6v6 modes like Supremacy or Rift week to week. Shaxx will also offer two Crucible bounties each week to coincide with each mode that is offered....
The game is curbed from reaching glory by the constraints placed upon it being an older title, but maintains its outrageous satirical humor all while looking stunningly gorgeous with its upgraded graphics. Federal agents, along with task force members from the bureau’s field office in Detroit, were seen searching the government building on Woodward Avenue, as well residences of Councilwoman Janeé Ayers and Councilman Scott Benson. The FBI said the warrants were conducted as part of an ongoing public corruption investigation. The reason, according to Bungie, is due to the short amount of time the developer had to respond to the problem and adding the fix to the scheduled December 12 Destiny 2 update. Unfortunately, some PC players won’t be experiencing the Faction Rally this week as a fresh set of bans have come down. Though Bungie claims to be more confident in the review process this time around, many players continue to cry foul over this new round of bans. Like the first wave, banned players mentioned that they were using third party applications which worked fine with other Blizzard games like Overwatch or Heroes of the Storm....

The response reportedly comes from Japanese outlet 4gamer in an interview with Bungie design director Jacob Benton. Benton started by reiterating that Bungie’s focus was on Destiny 2 and that all of its current plans remained with that focus. Succinctly, Benton stated that there were no plans to leave Destiny 2 behind. He goes on to note that Bungie continues to work on new stories and expansions for Destiny 2, including The Witch Queen and Lightfall....
