This stems from the fact that Destiny 2 players can skip a few encounters in the Strike and cheese through others, leading to rather short runs up to the final boss - Grask, the Consumed. Grask itself was a rather easy encounter that most players would finish in a matter of seconds by melting the Lake of Shadows boss, which was done both for speed reasons and because the Strike’s boss arena can be a nightmare if Grask lives long enough....

Transmog is one of the more transformative features coming to Destiny 2 and it will arrive sometime after Beyond Light and Season of the Hunt. It will let players don any look they want regardless of their armor setup. Details on the system have been scarce as the team was still early in developing it. Regardless, the dedicated fans have been anxious about having to keep armor sets to later convert them into appearances via transmog....

Fans have been eager to learn more about the final season in Shadowkeep’s four-season arc for a long time. Season of the Worthy left a lot to be desired for most players and Bungie refrained from revealing major features for Season of Arrivals until it launched. The studio usually reveals seasonal content a week before it is released but this time Bungie opted to showcase the summer season alongside Beyond Light, Destiny 2’s annual expansion....

Unrest within the PvP community is nothing new for Destiny 2, but it has sprung up again after rumors that Trials of Osiris might return in Season of Dawn. Some top PvP Destiny 2 players (former and current) were invited out to Bungie’s studio and many of them are best known for Trials of Osiris carries. Dr. Lupo and RealKraftyy, for example, drew thousands of viewers throughout Trials weekend, as they attempted to get as many players as possible to The Lighthouse....

The Seasons in Destiny 2 last around 3 to 4 months, with the game currently wrapping up Season 9, the Season of Dawn. As the grind of another season comes to a close and the big reset looms on the horizon, players are wondering exactly what could be in store for Season 10, named the Season of the Worthy, and beyond. The two maps are titled Meltdown and Solitude, and both look like they take place on Mars, the destination of focus in Destiny 2’s Warmind DLC. There is not a lot of information to go on, but based on the screenshots and what has been revealed about Warmind so far, it appears that Meltdown takes place in a Clovis Bray facility in the Braytech Futurescape while Solitude takes place on the polar ice caps of Hellas Basin....

As detailed in the studio’s blog post from last week, Mayhem is back again for another week of accelerated Crucible chaos. That’s not all Bungie has planned during the holiday break, however, as Lord Saladin is also heading back to the Tower on Christmas Day to being a new season of Iron Banner. With new weapons and gear to collect, players who jump into the fray are getting rewarded with double valor during the week as well....

With that reveal also came the announcement that the Rasputin focused expansion 2 content would not be arriving until Spring 2018, which surprised a number of people considering that Bungie has previously stated it plans to release content on a faster cadence than the first game. With a DLC cycle that looks relatively the same as Destiny 1, it’s clear that Bungie has other plans to fill the gaps between releases, most likely through its seasons of content feature the studio revealed a couple weeks ago....

According to the latest This Week at Bungie blog post, it looks as if the studio still doesn’t have a definitive time frame in place as to when Trials will return to Destiny 2, but the developer does know that it won’t be introducing the D1 version of Trials of Osiris when it does finally bring the PvP feature back. As stated by Bungie, due to the fact that “both Destiny and the online PvP scene have evolved since 2015”, the company doesn’t believe injecting the Trials of Osiris gameplay formula from 2015 into D2 “would accomplish what [its] goals are today....

Destiny developer, Bungie, acknowledged the issue in its weekly blog, specifically calling out the newly remastered strike, The Abomination Heist. The Abomination Heist is a reworked version of Year 1’s Summoning Pits strike, similar to how Rise of Iron’s other remastered strike is a remixed version of The Devil’s Lair. Players reported this week that The Abomination Heist was dropping loot rewards that were not up at the new updated levels....

At E3 2015, Bungie took the time to tease fans with their next big expansion for Destiny, known as The Taken King. With even more weapons, armor, quests, and three new subclasses for players to explore in this add-on pack, fans have an additional opportunity to unlock another in-game mission with the help of energy drink maker, Red Bull. Activision has confirmed that they’ve partnered up with the Red Bull brand to offer Destiny fans new content for the upcoming Destiny expansion....

And so far, Bungie’s vision for the game has paid off, financially. It was plagued by middling reviews at first as some felt that the game fell short of its mark, but having racked up over $300 million worth of sales in just five days of its release, that doesn’t seem to have hindered the game too much thanks to its record-breaking pre-order numbers, which in part, my be thanks to Activision spending half a billion dollars on the game and marketing it....

TMZ now has updated their original report and noted that Piper died from cardiac arrest in his sleep on Thursday night. He was found on Friday. Piper’s rep told TMZ, “I am devastated at this news. Rod was a good friend as well as a client and one of the most generous, sincere and authentic people I have ever known. This is a true loss to us all.” A family member told TMZ Piper was cancer-free at the time of his death....

Best in show went to a 1937 Delahaye 135M Cabriolet by Chapron during the event, which also honored former General Motors VP of Global Design Ed Welburn. He started at GM in 1972 as the company’s first Black designer and rose to the highest position for an African-American at any global automaker. Recently, a new video has been released showcasing a newfound way to take down raid bosses with minimal effort. Traditionally, the most common way of taking down bosses was to group up and attack them with Slug Shotguns, not it appears that Fusion Rifle weapons are the new way to go. While most Destiny 2 players already figured that Challenge Modes would be coming to the Leviathan raid - raid-specific emblems were spotted in the game’s database - this is the first time Bungie has acknowledged their existence. Furthermore, it appears that Challenge Modes could even make their debut very soon. Bungie teased that Leviathan’s Challenge Modes will be coming soon in the developer’s weekly blog, tacking it onto the end of their discussion about the Prestige Mode of the raid that will debut next week:...

Cauldron is another returning map from Destiny 1 and a regular option during Trials of Osiris in the first game. It, along with Exodus Blue and Anomaly, were revamped for Season of the Worthy and the return of Trials but by and large the makeup of the maps has been relatively the same. RELATED: Trials of Osiris Rewards are Bugged Again One detail that many Destiny 2 players feel that should have been changed on Cauldron, though, are the doors that lead to the central area of the map....

With this in mind, it’s easy to see how game-breaking issues crop up, like that of the weird interaction between Destiny 2’s Exotic fusion rifle Telesto and one of the new seasonal mods called Thermoclastic Blooming. This was quickly found by Bungie, with the developer disabling the gun and the mod for further investigation, which often happens in situations like that. Another example is that of the interaction between the Warlocks’ Exotic gloves called Necrotic Grip and Thorn, which are strong due to a glitch that Bungie chose to leave in the game....

Minecraft brings out the creativity in people. Between all the building materials, colors, and available time players have, almost anything is possible inside the game. English universities have even used Minecraft as an educational tool to teach kids about diabetes. There’s seemingly nothing Minecraft players can’t do if they put their minds to it.
