The official answer? No. This is according to Destiny 2 PvP Lead Derek Carroll, who says testing sandbox changes are not in the plan for Crucible Labs: Crucible Labs then looks to be a place within Destiny 2 where Bungie will activate one or more modes for players to check out. This can include never-before-seen modes and tweaks to existing modes in the game. Crucible Labs looks like it won’t be quite as fully featured as something like Overwatch’s PTR, which lets players try out new heroes and maps as well as sandbox changes....

The Heroic Strike playlist was added to Destiny 2 in the Curse of Osiris expansion, which does not differ much from the usual strike playlist other than the fact that it raises the power level and gives out a greater amount of loot. But Bungie is looking at ways to make it a unique experience, differentiating it further from the standard strike playlist: Fans of Destiny 1 will remember that Heroic Strikes were a standard part of the game, and they also included modifiers from the start....

The Whisper is a mission that includes numerous parkour sections which some Destiny 2 players aren’t the greatest fan of. Moreover, the parkour bits can screw up many runs or simply cause frustration as this is a timed mission. As seen below in the trailer for Destiny 2’s various environments, Bungie begins delving into the worlds by starting with the European Dead Zone, declaring it to be one of the first destinations that players will be able to explore and the largest area that the development team has ever built. Following a glimpse at the EDZ, the video offers a look at Titan, which contains “huge, monolithic structures” built by humans from an old utopia that’s sinking into a methane ocean with “40 meter high waves....

The Vex Mythoclast was originally obtained by clearing the Vault of Glass raid on Hard Mode, and much of its popularity stemmed from its uniquely high rate of fire for a fusion rifle, as players were able to benefit from fully automatic fire as well as utilizing fusion rifle armor perks. With players now discovering that the weapon is available as a drop from normal mode clears in Destiny 2’s version of Vault of Glass, it is fairly likely that the weapon will be a popular pickup once again....

These teases and hints from Bungie have continued over the past couple of seasons, with many fans developing theories as to who Savathun could be impersonating. In fact, the reveal event should also give fans a greater look at the recently revealed Season of the Lost, which sees the Awoken Queen finally reappearing and likely serving as a prologue to the events of the Witch Queen expansion. While the arrival of a full fledged sequel is still at least a year away if rumors are true, in the short term, fans should be preparing for the arrival of a challenge mode for the Wrath of the Machine raid, promising to make the raid even more difficult and rewarding. For one, Destroy All Humans! on PS4 is not going to be a typical PS2 on PS4 game. Instead of simply having upscaled resolution and added trophy support, it appears as through Destroy All Humans! will be a remaster. The IOC and the Tokyo organizing committee said the women’s and men’s marathons will run on back-to-back days, Aug. 8 and 9, on the final weekend of the games.
