The news comes by way of a Redditor who noticed the discount when purchasing two copies of the game. While the price on the main page says the game is $60, the 20 percent discount is offered at checkout. To that end, Bungie has now tweeted some pertinent details about the next Destiny 2 raid. The developer’s official Twitter account has shared both power level requirements and the specific launch time for the event, with the promise of more information getting shared sometime next week. Bungie is adding a new feature to Eververse called Prismatic Matrix. Players will earn Prismatic Facets to spend at Eververse and then use these to purchase 1 of 10 Eververse items from Season 3 each week it is active. Prismatic Facets stack up to 3, and players earn one free Prismatic Facet with their first well-rested level-up each week. Thereafter players can continue to purchase Prismatic Facets for 200 Silver each....

Iron Banner will no longer appear in Destiny 1 with the last week of it in the original game having been in August, so Destiny 2 will be the only way to play the event. As seen in the tweet below from Bungie’s Community Manager, Cozmo, Destiny 2 fans should not only expect to receive information regarding Masterwork Armor and alterations to Raid rewards, but also details about changes coming to the Iron Banner, a section dedicated to Shaders, and a preview of the next major patch notes. Unfortunately, though, Cozmo didn’t offer any further facts on these or other matters. For those unaware, Masterwork Armor will be available in Destiny 2 on January 30, 2018, with the gear offering better damage reduction when using a Super ability, and the chance to re-roll for a better stat type....

It’s unknown exactly when the Gambit playlist will be consolidated and which version of the mode will survive the cut, but Destiny 2’s franchise director Luke Smith explained in his lengthy “Director’s Cut” blog post that eventually players and the developer will have to choose one over the other. It’s been confirmed that the Destroy All Humans! remake is an “exact” remake of the original, meaning that gameplay should be basically the same between versions, albeit with slight improvements here and there.
