Last night, casting associate Nick Conti was credited as Nick ‘Necrochasm’ Conti. Destiny fans will of course recognize this as an auto rifle added in the game’s The Dark Below expansion, although it has to be said that the reference will likely have gone over the heads of anyone unfamiliar with the title. Conti’s credit is followed by the phrase ‘still don’t have it’, alluding to the complex series of steps Guardians need to follow to earn the weapon....

Players are getting the complete package and then some, with Destroy All Humans’ voice cast returning for the remake, and some new features being added to make the game feel modern. The controls have been touched up to make Crypto feel more maneuverable, along with new abilities like a hoverboard that allows Crypto to glide over long stretches, which is by far the best new addition in Destroy All Humans....

The remake is based on the classic shooter that released in 2005 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox originally. The remake will follow the same story as the classic but will have more content than the original Destroy All Humans. Players will control Crypto as he launches an invasion on Earth, using his wide arsenal of weapons and psychokinesis abilities. Crypto also causes massive destruction with his flying saucer, which is used to travel at high speeds and to blow up any building standing in the way....

According to Louis Dangoor of GiveMeSport, the match was ‘seriously considered’ to headline the first night of the wrestling extravaganza. The report mentions that the main reason the bout was scrapped was centered around Ronda Rousey. WWE became aware that the Baddest Woman on the Planet would be at WrestleMania around December last year. The feeling within the company was that Ronda Rousey should compete for the top women’s championship, which meant that the Four Horsewomen Fatal Four Way match couldn’t happen....

Destiny 2 just dropped a Season of Plunder video that focuses on Osiris and Saint-14 in a classic hand-drawn animated art style as opposed to the usual CG visuals that fans are used to seeing alongside expansion launches. Similar to how Destiny 2’s Season of Plunder encompassed the Halloween holiday season with an event called Festival of the Lost, Season 19 will include the Winter seasonal activities with the return of the Dawning....

While Game Director Luke Smith didn’t say much about it, he did reveal that Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will add a new matchmade activity called Vex Offensive for Season Pass owners. This activity will have its own set of rewards and bounties. It might not be the only one, but it sounds as though Vex Offensive will be a source of powerful rewards for Destiny 2 players each week on their path to the “power level cap” of 960....

The second bit of content in the 30th Anniversary Pack is the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon, which has some of Destiny 2’s best loot to date in the form of Artifice Armor - armor pieces with an extra mod slot that is solely used for artifact mods. The Dungeon is incredibly well done, and it packs a challenge that many Destiny 2 players were happy to accept on day one in order to obtain the famed Exotic rocket launcher, Gjallarhorn....

Despite Destiny 2 being free-to-play for newcomers, it doesn’t do an excellent job of explaining the lore behind enemies, characters, and locations. Other learning curves come from Power Level caps and purchasing the suite of Light powers from Ikora Ray in the Tower. Furthermore, the current lifespan of Destiny 2 has seen thousands of players spend their time playing and grinding for weapons, armor, mods, favorite Light and Darkness subclasses, and Exotic items to create specific builds and play styles....

With Destiny 2 being in a good place for over a year, having this lore-heavy character go down after a couple of Anarchy shots with Breach and Clear, followed by Thundercrash, Chaos Reach, or Golden Gun, would be sad. Pieces of the puzzle are likely already set in stone by now, but Bungie should take this opportunity to make the most out of a character that is so important to the events of past storylines....

While a large part of the game is tailoring weapons, abilities, and mods, looks are also fairly important. Players can spend hours grinding for endgame armor loot to perfect a Guardian’s design. Not all pieces are created equal, and more often than not fans will have to prioritize mechanics over style. Destiny 2 server maintenance is something that longtime players of the game should be readily familiar with, but those that are new to Destiny 2 because of the free-to-play New Light version of the game. Players have discovered everything from hidden basketball courts to actual weapons, like the Black Spindle exotic sniper rifle, that can only be unlocked when a specific quest is set as the daily story mission. With the latest and last expansion called Rise of Iron now out on store shelves for Destiny, players have already begun to unearth more hidden secrets and previously unseen levels....
