With challenges and triumphs normalizing the content solo players can complete, the gap between casual or specialized players compared to hardcore players continues to grow. Along with Solo Operative, the seasonal anti-Champion mods allowing players to possess all 3 of the damage types are only small steps compared to future possibilities of enabling solo players to be successful in late-game content....

Kells Grave will take players to the Reef’s Prison of Elders, which, along with the story campaign, will be the first time players get to go back to the location in Destiny 2. Much of the environment will look familiar to longtime fans who played Destiny 1’s Prison of Elders, but beyond the setting of the map, it’s entirely brand new and built for the new Gambit mode. Still, The Witch Queen will introduce several new Destiny 2 Exotic items for players to snatch, be it during the campaign, through weapon crafting, or with the Season Pass. The latest Destiny 2 discovery comes from Potatoe on Twitter, who compliments the recently added Anomaly map though quickly reveals a massive issue. The rotating structure in the middle of the map has a hitbox that doesn’t always match its geography. As the video shows, there are numerous places near the rotator that act as invisible walls, blocking bullets even when there is line of sight. The original description of Oathkeeper’s exotic perk Adamantine Brace reads: “Bows charge faster, and charges can be held indefinitely.” But what Destiny 2 players have noticed through use and testing is that the “bows charge faster” part of the perk is not accurate and it does not give any (or at least not noticeable) faster draw time. There is no noticeable difference between a bow drawn with Oathkeeper on and with them off....

For dedicated fans, D is for Destiny may look like something they have seen before—and that’s because it is. The book, which was completely illustrated and written by the artists and writers at Bungie, was originally an internal Christmas gift given only to Bungie employees in December 2013. As Bungie tells it, friends of employees starting seeing the book and asked when they could buy a copy as well. In 2014, Bungie self-published D is for Destiny and sold it on the company’s own online store....

However, it seems at least one player wasn’t content with the official changes to Destiny with Update 2.0, but wanted to search out something no one else knew about. This gamer, who goes by TheTeamsFlag on Reddit, discovered a newly rendered area via a glitch on Earth where players can run around and probe an area called The Mine. As the below video shows, the player hops aboard a Sparrow and traverses through Forgotten Shore and The Grottos to find the glitch, nestled in a stone wall....

However, with Heroic Mode fast approaching, it is likely to show up as a necessary part of the Aksis fight. If for some reason it does not play into Heroic Mode, it is sure to at least play into one of the Challenge Modes. So what is the mechanic, and how should teams be practicing? Those who have played Wrath of the Machine are likely to remember the Supercharge pads scattered across the room where the Aksis encounter takes place....

For many players, however, the Vanguard Streak bonus hasn’t appeared to make much of a difference when it comes to getting those much-desired Legendary loot drops. And some new data provided by a Destiny player could back up those claims. Reddit user FruityAlpaca ran 50 strikes within the Heroic Strike playlist; 25 consecutive strikes using the Vanguard Streak bonus and 25 non-consecutive strikes without the streak bonus. 2022 has been a big year for the Destroy All Humans franchise. Destroy All Humans 2: Re-Probed followed in the footsteps of the Destroy All Humans remake from a couple of years ago, retaining the gameplay of the original game while greatly improving the graphics. Destroy All Humans: Clone Carnage came out as a sort of companion to Destroy All Humans 2: Re-Probed, given away for free to those that pre-ordered the new game while otherwise costing $9....

The art is a depiction of what a realistic Sobble might look like, and it was drawn by none other than RJ Palmer. He’s an artist who previously went viral by drawing realistic renditions of Pokemon, an act that he’s been doing for upwards of six years now. His talented (and sometimes horrifying) drawings eventually got him a job working with the production crew of Detective Pikachu, where he provided realistic designs for the live-action movie....

It seems as though Twitter users didn’t respond well to the Detroit: Become Human stunt, with one person even referring to it as “childish garbage.” In the past, playful jabs between the console makers were not met with such a negative response. For Season of Dawn, the weapon meta is going to shift away from this past season’s focus on hand cannons, submachineguns, and auto rifles. Bungie said during its livestream reveal of Season of Dawn that it is encouraging players to engage with longer-range precision weapons this season instead. The seasonal artifact will also be focused primarily on buffing solar abilities as well as void. That, plus a nerf to The Recluse submachinegun, may very well see players favoring some new weapons in this season....

With Strand’s grapple hook, players do not need to latch onto a physical surface to grapple. They can instead use their hook to swing through their environment by attaching it to the Weave, a concept that ties into the game’s theme of manipulating space and time. This is especially relevant in the new location of Neomuna, which looks to have a lot of verticality to it, a departure from most Destiny 2 environments and maps....

The Destiny 2 Season 8 name is Season of the Undying. Again, we don’t know exactly what it will entail, but more information on that front should come as we get closer to its start date. However, fans shouldn’t have to wait quite as long to learn more about the future of Destiny 2 in a general sense. That’s because Bungie is revealing the next chapter for Destiny 2 in a special presentation on June 6....

Warlocks are in fact so powerful with Stasis that they can get away with running Stasis for most difficult, endgame PVE content, including Master raids and Grandmaster Nightfalls. There are a number of ways that Destiny 2 players can prepare in order to speed up the process of earning Crimson Engrams, which is an XP-based reward that contains the event-specific loot for Crimson Days. Today, Bungie released the official launch trailer for The Witch Queen. The video shows the reactions of iconic characters from Destiny 2 to the news that Savathun has stolen the Light for herself and her army of Hive Guardians, becoming the ultimate threat in the universe. New story sequences also appear throughout the trailer, with Savathun talking to someone, referring to them as an old friend that she’s been chasing for a long time - possibly hinting at this entity being the Traveler itself....

However, hitting or passing light level 385 in Destiny is easier said than done. Getting to light level 365 is fairly easy if players simply grind strike bosses, but items that scale up to 385 are a little harder to come by. Today, Bungie released a new Destiny patch that the developer claims will improve the “quality of life” of its popular multiplayer shooter. More specifically, Bungie is improving the behaviors of engrams in-game, to ensure that Destiny players see new gear more often. While not the only major change, the biggest one in today’s Destiny patch makes it so Rise of Iron Vanguard and Crucible weapons will decrypt from engrams. Most players may not have noticed, but pre-patch engrams were only decrypting into Year 2 weapons, not any of the new Rise of Iron gear....
