Berry said Lucid Games become aware that both of the AllStars were overpowered in the game thanks to feedback from its player community. He also said that the developer will be doing a balance pass soon that will nerf both Ratu and Bluefang, the latter of whom recently received his own Challenger Series. On top of that, Berry said Lucid Games intends to cover various problems at once instead of making small, sporadic updates to balance out Destruction AllStars.
According to the post, Lucid Games is currently working on several updates for Destruction AllStars that will address other issues and aspects of the game. This includes issues like players not being rewarded for the trophies they completed. The developer refining the party system so its community can play Gridfall and Mayhem against their friends, and the developer will be returning party chat back to Destruction AllStars within the next few weeks if everything goes according to plan.
The post also brings up how players had an issue with matchmaking in Destruction AllStars, particularly the long queue times before entering a game. According to the post, the developer is working to address these problems and has come up with several solutions to try and improve the load times. Alongside the recently announced content roadmap for Destruction AllStars, this shows Lucid Games is still hard at work supporting the game for its players.
