The numbers in the data set found below came from 457 different Guardians responding with their kill totals, and it’s quite impressive to see that such a small segment of players could be responsible for the huge total of 175,064,285 enemies defeated. Perhaps even more interesting is the fact that just one Destiny fan reported 1,256,237 kills of Hive bad guys, while the Fallen were far and away the most killed enemy at 63,952,497.
Of course, while these figures are indeed outstanding in terms of their sheer size – especially when acknowledging that they came from such a small pool of respondents – it’s important to note that the numbers are likely nowhere close to what the entire Destiny subreddit has actually achieved in total. After all, the forum currently has 338,122 subscribers as of writing, so one can only imagine how absolutely gargantuan the amount of enemy kills for the whole message board are when compiled.
Naturally, as the days and weeks continue to mount toward the release of Destiny 2, the numbers in the above data set will surely continue to rise, especially since Guardians won’t want to have their skills get rusty before the sequel drops in September. After all, the follow-up’s new raid is set to provide a hearty challenge for many players, and the best way to rise to the occasion will be to keep one’s trigger finger trained.
Destiny is available now for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Destiny 2, on the other hand, is set to launch on September 6, 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC release scheduled for October 24, 2017.
