However, one fan has developed a theory as to how Destiny 2 may be able to keep the hero around beyond the current season using Riven’s Wish Wall. Originally introduced inside of the Forsaken expansion, players could access a wall of symbols prior to the first boss encounter inside of the Last Wish raid. Using a specific combination of symbols, players could unlock new modifiers or conditions for the raid similar to an old school cheat code.

Up to now, the fanbase has discovered 14 total wishes, with the final 15th wish currently being unknown. As the last Ahamkara Riven once hinted, the 15th wish is likely one that players will enjoy.

Armed with that knowledge, the Redditor known as NeonAttak theorized that the 15th Wish will be made towards the end of the Season of Dawn in order to keep Saint-14 stay in this timeline permanently. While a fun theory, the user indicates that not only has the community really taken to Saint but Bungie has spent a lot of time not only giving him a proper space inside of the hanger but developing his personality as well. All of that work, only to take him away at season’s end, doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

It’s entirely possible that Bungie intends to keep Saint-14 around regardless of the last wish. Speculation and rumors continue to swirl around the Titan as well as a newly reborn Trials of Osiris. The fan favorite mode has yet to see the light of day in Destiny 2, though many believe the weekend Crucible event from the original Destiny is set to return later this season thanks to the Trials symbols near Saint-14’s Tower spot as well as Crucible style voice lines the Titan used in his story missions. Whatever happens, answers should be given in February alongside the mysterious Empyrean Foundation event.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
