In addition to the rotating content each week, players have been grinding away at unlocking one of the many hand cannons introduced in the Forsaken expansion. In addition to Better Devils getting random rolls, players have been discovering other strong hand cannons like the Duke Mk.44 as well as chasing exotics like the Ace of Spades and the newly released Malfeasance. While Luna’s Howl has been the goal for many Competitive Crucible players, it was recently discovered that another powerful variant called Not Forgotten can also be unlocked after a fair bit of grinding.

With Tuesday back once again, the weekly reset has arrived once again, giving Destiny 2 players all new set of objectives and challenges to overcome. Nightfall Strike Details

Nightfall Strike Options: Lake of Shadows, Tree of Probabilities, The Arms Dealer

The three Nightfall choices this week include the former PlayStation 4 exclusive, Lake of Shadows, Tree of Probabilities which was introduced within the Curse of Osiris expansion, and Braccus Zahn rounds out the trio inside The Arms Dealer.

Each option starts at a recommended power level of 540, so players may want to grind for new gear a bit before taking on these missions. Keep in mind that players can only select a Nightfall from expansions they already own.

Nightfall Challenges:

Equipment Locked: Once the mission starts, players can no longer switch their currently equipped gear. Extinguish: Once a fireteam dies in a restricted zone, they’re returned to orbit.

Flashpoint Location

Flashpoint Location: Mercury

For better or worse, the Flashpoint challenge has moved to another DLC location. To access Mercury, players will first need to own the Curse of Osiris expansion, so those without it, will be locked out of this weekly challenge as well as the previously mentioned Tree of Probabilities Nightfall. Gain progress on this challenge by taking part in Public Events, finishing Heroic adventures, and clearing out Lost Sectors. Don’t forget to consult our heroic modifier guide for public events to help finish this a bit faster.

Once 100% is reached, head into The Lighthouse to Brother Vance for the week’s powerful reward.

Tower Objectives and Bounties

It’s a new week which means most of the vendors at the Tower have new weekly bounties to pick up.

Tess Everis continues to have her set of daily Eververse Bounties as well as a special weekly in exchange for glimmer that awards a Prismatic Facet instead of bright dust. Keep in mind that for players with 3 Prismatic Facets, no more can be held so make sure to use them before completing the new weekly bounty from Eververse.

Suraya Hawthorne also has her daily clan and raid bounties players can pick up, which go towards finishing her weekly clan XP challenge. Right next door to Suraya is Ikora Rey, who awards powerful gear each week for players that complete 20 bounties. Players have plenty of options for completing this including Shaxx, The Drifter, and Zavala with their usual associated game mode bounties as well.

Alternatively, Forsaken players can visit The Spider at the Tangled Shore as this reformed Fallen has a selection of daily bounties as well as a set of weekly Most Wanted bounties. His powerful reward bounty this week is set on the Gravetide Summoner.

For players at The Dreaming City, Petra Venj is offering powerful rewards for those who complete her normal weekly bounties and Dark Fragments for her dailies.

Crucible Milestone and Weekly Playlist

Complete Crucible Matches - Finish 5 total Crucible matches. Any of the playlists count towards this milestone except a private match.

Along with the weekly challenge that resets on Saturday as well, daily objectives pop up from time to time, typically requiring that players only complete one Crucible match. After being featured as the weekly Crucible mode, the new mode Breakthrough has shifted to its new home under the Competitive playlist.
