Unlike previous Dawning events, Bungie is adding a bit of baking into the mix this time around. Perpetually forgotten merchant, Eva Levante, has returned to the Tower and tasks players to gather ingredients in the world. After making cookies like Gjallardoodles and Chocolate Ship Cookies, Guardians can deliver these goods to certain NPCs who will offer rewards as thanks. Of course, this event also features new triumphs, the return of Mayhem in the Crucible, and high powered gear such as the Avalanche Heavy Machine gun for players to obtain during this event.

In addition to baking cookies and scoring winter-themed gear, the weekly reset has again arrived within Destiny 2. Of course, this means there’s fresh content and rewards to earn over the next seven days. Nightfall Strike Details

Nightfall Strike Options: The Inverted Spire, Tree of Probabilities, Strange Terrain

Strange Terrain is back again this week as one of three Nightfall options, giving those players still seeking the Wayfarer title another chance to obtain the extremely rare BrayTech Osprey rocket launcher. Tree of Probabilities, the Curse of Osiris specific strike, and the Inverted Spire round out the full Nightfall list for this week. For those continuing to run the Vanilla Destiny 2 experience, The Inverted Spire will be the only available choice, only without a super-sized Protheon boss at the end. As always, consult the list below to see what exclusive rewards are up for grab this week.

Each option starts at a recommended power level of 540, so players may want to grind for new gear a bit before taking on these missions.

Nightfall Challenges:

Equipment Locked: Once the mission starts, players can no longer switch their currently equipped gear. Extinguish: Once a fireteam dies in a restricted zone, they’re returned to orbit.

Nightfall Exclusive Rewards:

Strange Terrain - BrayTech Osprey (Rocket Launcher). Tree of Probabilities - D. F. A. (hand cannon). The Inverted Spire - Trichromatica Ghost Shell.

Flashpoint Location

Flashpoint Location: European Dead Zone

The Flashpoint for this week has once again returned to Earth inside of the European Dead Zone. To complete this milestone, fill the progression meter by taking part in Public Events, finishing Heroic adventures, and clearing out Lost Sectors. Consult our heroic modifier guide for public events to help finish this a bit faster.

Once 100% has been reached, visit Devrim Kay at the central church in Trostland to claim the powerful reward for the week.

Crucible Milestone and Weekly Playlist

Complete Crucible Matches - Finish 5 total Crucible matches. Any of the playlists count towards this milestone except a private match.

Weekly Crucible Playlist - Mayhem

Gambit - Complete 3 Gambit matches.

Daily objectives also pop up from time to time for these playlists, typically requiring that players only complete one Crucible match. Make sure to keep an eye out.

Tower Objectives and World Bounties

With the reset here, the weekly bounties from many of the Vendors in game have also been restocked. Let’s have a quick look:

Tess Everis continues to have her set of daily Eververse Bounties as well as a special weekly in exchange for glimmer that awards a Prismatic Facet instead of bright dust. Keep in mind that for players with 3 Prismatic Facets, no more can be held, so make sure to use them before completing the new weekly bounty from Eververse. Suraya Hawthorne also has her daily clan and raid bounties players can pick up, which go towards finishing her weekly clan XP challenge. Right next door to Suraya is Ikora Rey, who awards powerful gear each week for players that complete 20 bounties. Players have plenty of options for completing this including Shaxx, The Drifter, and Zavala with their usual associated game mode bounties as well. Forsaken players can visit The Spider at the Tangled Shore as his weekly Wanted bounties have been refreshed. This week, the Powerful Reward bounty is Thyrdron. Visit The Dreaming City and Petra Venj for weekly and daily bounties offering powerful rewards, Dark Fragments, and more.
