The Seasons in Destiny 2 last around 3 to 4 months, with the game currently wrapping up Season 9, the Season of Dawn. As the grind of another season comes to a close and the big reset looms on the horizon, players are wondering exactly what could be in store for Season 10, named the Season of the Worthy, and beyond.

One of the biggest clues is a cinematic that appeared recently, showing Osiris confronting Rasputin on Mars and hurling some pretty harsh accusations its way. As interesting as this is, that minute-long video is just vague enough to not deliver any real information to players. Many have been much quicker and more eager to analyze a single 18-second section of a Bungie announcement video in which Seasons 10 and 11 were talked up by the developers. Season 11 will, according to the video, be like “no other time in Destiny”, hinting at something more impressive than any season before it.

The Tweet asks players to remember that, officially, there has not been much confirmed about the upcoming two seasons, although there has been plenty of speculation as to what the next season of Destiny 2 will offer. Foremost among things players are expecting is a bigger focus on PVP, as well as the return of Trials of Osiris, which seems even more likely after the cinematic showing Osiris’ return from his exile. The video clip indicates that there will be a significant advancement in the PVE story as well, with things getting “intense” before the big, climactic cataclysm that is apparently forthcoming in Season 11.

While there are certainly big story moments coming, and likely several new features for PVP enthusiasts, many players would prefer a focus on fixing Destiny 2’s infrastructure before anything else. After all, the game recently suffered its second rollback in two months due to a reintroduced bug, hinting that the game’s instability may still be a problem.

Still, new features are what people come for, and there will undoubtedly be plenty to look forward to in Destiny 2’s Season 10, as well as the promised incredible moments of Season 11.

Destiny 2 is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia
